    1. Hi, I'm a NYT bestseller gone cyber & wonder if my books qualify. There is romance in them but not the trad HEA. The stories have positive endings but maybe skew more toward women's fiction or an expanded definition of romance...HUSBANDS & LOVERS was a million-copy NYT bestseller & got an award from RT for "Best Contemporary"...

I'm looking for crossover readers & can promise them: Happily Ever After and beyond. Romance you can believe in.

      All the best, Ruth Harris

  6. I'm wondering what is an Amazon ASIN#? My book is coming out 5/2 and I could use all the help I can get.
    Thanks!

  8. Teresa, Amazon will assign your ebook a number that no other product has. It's called an ASIN (Amazon Standard Item Number). Once the book is available in the Kindle Bookstore, its ASIN will be listed in the product details.

We prefer that your book has at least a couple of good reviews so we know we're promoting well-written, entertaining books.

Best of luck with you're new release! It's a very exciting time for you!

    Leigh, you're very welcome!

  9. Thanks for the opportunity to submit! However, I feel I should be upfront and let you know that "Descension" does not fit into the traditional Romance genre. It is a Fantasy series with very strong romantic elements. Definitely a love story. If that's okay, I'd love to be considered.

    Thanks in advance,
    B.C. Burgess :)

  11. Does everyone who submits get featured? Just curious

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'm sorry to say, no. I rejected a submission just this weekend because the price was $9.99. I also rejected several other books because there were typos in the product description (I can only assume there will be typos in the actual e-book too). I have found that readers are looking for quality fiction at a great price. I believe the highest priced book we've featured was $6.99.

Please know that the lag time between submission and being featured is now 2-3 wks.

  13. Donna, I love your site --so glad Elaine Raco Chase recommended it! Thanks for the opportunity to submit. So many sites only seem to cover the really "hot & steamy" romances --my book is a sweet Regency romance. Thanks for recognizing that there's room for all types of romance stories, and that romance can be sexy and still be sweet....

    1. Gail, I'm seeing that Regency romances sell well at KRN. Readers love them. Glad to have you.

  14. Hi Donna. I'm now following your terrific site. Also just submitted two books for your consideration. Books 1 and 2 in my Texas Druids trilogy, they are western historical romances with a touch of Irish Druid powers for fun. Both are five-star reviewed.

I've also pubbed a short prequel to the series titled White Witch. It's historical fiction/paranormal. While I'm not submitting this novella, I thought I should let you know in case you want to read it first. (Not required to "get" the series, but does add to the experience.)

  15. Just saw your tweet for Food of Love, and thanks a bunch! You're featuring some of my favorite authors (I loved Ruth Harris's books long before I met her!) My books are rom-com mysteries. Definitely mysteries, but always with a major romantic story arc. And shoes. There are shoes.

  17. Donna, this is a great site and I thank you for the opportunity to submit my western historical romance, Trail To Destiny, for your approval. I've recently enjoyed reading one of the listed books by Lyn Horner.

  18. Hello...Just wondering if my novel qualifies. It's called LARP: The Battle for Verona. It's not a romance...more of a fantasy/action WITH a love plot. It is published by Lachesis Publishing and should be out within the next few months. Please let me know!...Justin

    1. Justin, if your book has strong romantic elements then it will probably qualify. I also like to see a couple of good reviews, as well as a well-written product description.

  21. Donna,

Thanks for the opportunity. Using the Premium Promo feature, I'm going to send you the first two of my Deadly Triad series. The third is due out in September. The form to submit is very simple. As I complete the process, do you get the info from my Amazon ISBN or do I contirbute the info? I have several great reviews on Amazon. Do you choose which ones to use?
Sorry if i seem a bit dense about this!

    2. Donna,

I've prepaid and sent the information for the first two books of my Deadly Triad. When we talk about time for the post, I'd like to consider sometime in September since the third book is scheduled for release on Sept. 1st. Then maybe I could prepay and have the three of them back to back, if that's possible. Looking forward to the promo!

    1. Leslie, welcome to the site! I'm glad you found it.

I used to offer free spots, but some authors were taking advantage. I decided my time has to be worth something. That's the honest truth. So Premium Promo is all I offer now. :) I hope you understand.

  33. Quick question. I'm trying to sign up for a promo on my next book's release date, so I won't have the asin until right before. Is it possible to still send a submission? (If I need to I can get an isbn number instead)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes, Te. You can purchase and submit now. I will do all I can to post the promo on the date you chose. I will, however, have to wait until the book's order buttons are live (either purchase or pre-order buttons). Thanks!

  35. Donna, I listed a western historical romance for promo and paid the $10. The book is going on special for .99 for two weeks and I just listed the first day. However, I put in the ISBN # and it's the Ebook that will be on special not the print book. DO I need to fill out a new form? And where is the open Friday section? I couldn't find it. Thanks.

  37. Hi Donna,
I don't have a web site. However, I do a blogg on Wordpress. I'm going to check later today to see how I could put your button on my page. Just wondering if you know? Or maybe someone else here has input?
I'd really like to use this site. My book is $2.99 and has 4 or 5 great reviews on Amazon. It's romance and I'm just trying to get the word out. Editing is perfect including the description, etc.
Can you or someone else here offer input on the Wordpress thing?

  39. After an author submits payment and posts the icon on their web page, how long before you post the book on your blog, FB, etc? I paid and submitted two days ago and am wondering how long it takes.
