Alejandro de Silva knows there is more to the lovely Mestiza woman he has hired to keep his house…more than she will admit. Regardless, he cannot help that he is falling in love with her. But he never dreams she is an English spy and that her presence in Spanish St. Augustine will put both their lives in deadly peril.

5-Stars! "I was intrigued by the setting of this novel having visited the very fort that is the main setting. Colonial St. Augustine was a fascinating period and I felt the author did a terrific job of portraying it. The Spanish Capitan is a wonderful hero and very much in keeping with a man of his station during that time period. The wonderful, spunky heroine who is determined to rescue her twin brother is very much the hero's match. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing these two characters earn their happily-ever-after!"
