Every woman makes mistakes. Meet Stormy Clarkson, haunted by the three whoppers she made that changed her life. Now on the brink of a momentous birthday, she's crushing on a younger man--totally gorgeous, sexy Sean Butler, owner of Sierra Verde Winery.
Sean's been after her for six months, but she's resisted every advance. She can't risk another mistake, and Sean scares her because of the way he makes her feel. Then, one night he kisses her.
She can't forget that kiss, but, armed with iron self-control and the desire never to risk her heart, she's determined to deny what she feels for him.
Older woman? Yes! Younger man! Yes! Funny and HOT? OMG! Yes, yes, yes!
Sean Butler was once an interrogator for the U.S. Army. He knows a lie when he hears one, and that's all he hears in Stormy's icy refusals. Sean's smart enough to know that the only way to deal with a control freak is to make her lose control. He has a plan to do just that.
His plan? Whatever it takes to win her heart!

"...very sweet and yet very steamy. A must read!"
"Drenched in emotion and sexuality, this is a wonderful read that makes the happy ending all the more satisfying. And just so you know, that gorgeous red dress on the cover plays a significant part in the story. You don't want to miss it!"
"I think I'm in love with Sean. He is such a gorgeous, perfect guy. In every way."
Oh, Donna! Thank you so much for featuring my book!
ReplyDeleteI loved writing OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER, but I hated when I reached the end. I wanted it to be longer because I loved the characters so much.
My character Stormy was afflicted with Mother Guilt. Most of us who are mothers suffer from that, often without cause. I guess it goes with the territory.
It was interesting to explore a woman whose entire life was a monument to atonement. Stormy so deserved the love of a good man!
Best wishes,
Joan Reeves

DeleteAfter reading this, I went straight to Amazon to buy it, only to find it's already on my Kindle. I'm going to have to move it up on my TBR list for sure. It sounds like the perfect read right now. :)
ReplyDelete*LOL* I have the same problem, Norah. Too many books; not enough time.
